Meghan Sankowski grew up loving school, and playing teacher as much as possible.  So much so that she owes quite a few teachers an apology for trying to run their classroom.  It was no surprise to anyone that she ended up studying education.  She has 15 years teaching experience, most of those in extremely high-need schools.

Meghan is a trained Reading Recovery teacher, ESL certified and attributes these trainings to strengthening her knowledge base of literacy instruction.  Her greatest joy is teaching our youngest learners to read.  She loves pulling small groups, and seeing the tremendous boost in confidence when a student realizes they can read.

Now an independent sales representative and literacy consultant, she misses certain things about the classroom, but loves the flexibility to impact students and teachers in a different way.
